Some of Berkshire top property professionals were given recognition for their achievements at the culmination of TvPropFest19.

The Berkshire Property Awards, the finale to the day long event at Reading Town Hall and was attended by almost 200 industry and public sector figures.

Winners in the six categories, announced by host for the evening, Radio Berkshire presenter and former Reading FC captain, Ady Williams, were:

Best Interior Design Company of the Year – sponsored by Moorgarth

Winner: APAM/Patron Capital for its fit-out of The Café @ No10 at Arlington Business Park.

Consultant of the Year – sponsored by Segro

Winner: Broadway Malyan

Highly commended: Stubbings Property Management

Best Project Vision of the Year – sponsored by Heathrow Airport

Winner: Slough Urban Renewal – Stoke Wharf, Slough

Highly commended: Thames Properties – Cox & Wyman development, Cardiff Road, Reading

Future Star of the Year (Under 35: Next generation) – sponsored by Barton Willmore

Winner: Hannah Knowles – senior planner, Turley

Networker of the Year – sponsored by Jansons Property

This award was voted for on the evening by those present, using their mobile phones.

Winner: Charlie Nicholson – partner, Vail Williams

Mr Nicholson got the most votes from a shortlist which included:

Winner: Simon Perkins, chief executive of McKay Securities

During the evening guests took part in a game of head and tails which helped raise money for the Alexander Jansons Foundation, the chosen charity for the event.

UK Property Forums managing director Matthew Battle said: “The whole day was a remarkable success and these awards have proved the icing on the cake.
